You Must Strengthen Your Faith

In Mark 4:35 Jesus says to his disciples “Let us go over to the other side.”  A great storm came as they were traveling in the boat causing the disciples to become fearful for their lives.  Feared the storm was going to overtake the boat with everyone perishing.  They woke up Jesus who was sleeping peacefully, not having any fear or concern of the storm.  Jesus got up and rebuked the wind. He said to the sea “Quiet! Be still!”-Mark 4:39 The storm and winds immediately ceased. 

Jesus asked the disciples why were they afraid.  The disciples allowed their fear of the storm to overshadow the strength and power of the Lord. Jesus stated at the beginning of their travel that they would get over to the other side of the sea. Jesus already had stated what was to happen.  Everyone was going to get to the other side.  God stands by His word which never fails. 

He Does Not Lie

God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill. -Numbers 23:19   

God has the control in our storms.  You have to believe that you will get through and become better.   Your storms are for your good and for God’s glory.  Your storms are used to strengthen your faith.   As with disciples, do not be afraid.  Believe in the greatness and power that is with you and within you.        

Your faith will allow you to travel beyond the trials and storms that you will experience in this life.   It will empower you to overcome the limits within your mind and that others have placed upon you.  You must look to what can be and beyond. See with new eyes that which can be which is not visible at the time. See that God is able and that with Him what you are capable that will result in achievement, success and fulfillment.  Use your faith to give you the strength to go through and overcome the storms in your life.
