Believe in your future. For the Israelites, God created a future out of their ruins. The Israelites were scattered and again being oppressed. Their circumstances were the result of their actions. God had delivered them from the Egyptians and given them the Promised Land. After God gave them the Promised Land, they turned their back on Him. They worshipped idols and followed the rituals of the natives of the Promised Land. God abandoned them to their sin. Their actions resulted in being oppressed by the Babylonians.
God returned to them to again deliver them from oppression. The Israelites would be witnesses to what God is able to do. His promises are not conditional. In spite of them being disobedient, God kept his promise to give them a future. He would do more than what he had done for their ancestors. He would not repeat but surpass, going beyond.
God Will Make a Way
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. – Isaiah 43:19 God’s power has not limits. He can make a way in the sea and in wilderness.
2021 is coming to a close. It has been a challenging year. Know that your 2022 will be greater and better. God is creating a new thing. He can make a future out of ruins. He has plans for your future in the upcoming year. Believe and have faith in what you and He can do. Keep your confidence in the promises of God. Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. –Isaiah 43:1 You have a future. Embrace and believe in what is to come in 2022.
