Time to Rebuild

In the bible, the book of Nehemiah illustrates the process of rebuilding.  Rebuilding takes commitment, team work and dedication.  With rebuilding, comes hope.  Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, since he who promised is faithful. -Hebrews 10:23

Nehemiah was a cupbearer to the king of Persia.  He received word that his people were in distress because of the devastation of their homeland. Nehemiah sought to help by returning to his homeland where he led rebuilding the walls and repairing the gates.  The time had come for the people to rebuild.  God promised that if the people repented and returned to Him, He would restore their land.  In 52 days with hard work, team work and collaboration, the wall was rebuilt.

As with Nehemiah, the time has come for us to rebuild.  For over a year, we have been exiled and endured a pandemic   God is making a way for us to come through.  It is time rebuild.   Let us look to God to rebuild.  If we are faithful to him, he will turn around our circumstances.  God keeps his word and does not lie.  “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”-Jeremiah 29:11

Rebuilding is upon us.  It is time to become better and stronger.  You cannot continue to look back on the past to what once was but instead must look forward to the future of what can be.  As such, reflect on your vision, cause and passion.  Use them to propel you forward to rebuild.
