Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human spirit. We are all the same in this notion: The potential for greatness lives within each of us.

You are not average! YOU are outstanding, dynamic, you are God’s creation, created in his image.  You have his greatness within you, the Spirit. Do not ever think you are average, believe in who you are and who resides within you. Stretch yourself beyond what you know and have falsely determined that you are incapable of achieving. Do not settle for being average or develop the mindset to be average. Edmund Gaudet stated: “Being “average” is to take up space for no purpose; to take the trip through life, but never to pay the fare; to return no interest for God’s investment in you.” Being average means that you do not have faith in the Lord, trusting in his will for your life, believing in the gifts HE has planted within you. “In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everyone in conformity of his will.” (Ephesians 1:11)  “God’s gift to us potential.  Our gift to God: developing it.”  Author Unknown.

In return for God’s investment in you, you are required to believe in yourself, going beyond the boundaries that you see, stretching. Be willing to stretch yourself beyond the limits leading to becoming uncomfortable. In Law 10 of “The Rubber Band of the 15 Laws of Invaluable Growth” by John C. Maxwell he states “Life begins at the end of our comfort zone. We go there by stretching.”  Just when you think you cannot go beyond your boundaries, stretch further, believe in God’s word and promises for your life as well as yourself. You are capable and can do it.  You must be willing to make a decision to step out on your faith to receive what God has planned and predestined for your life.  You must make a decision to act, stretching yourself, reaching new dimensions. Make decisions that lead to growing, learning and receiving.  “Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” (James 2:17)  Be like the rubber band, its full potential is realized when used. It is stretched to reach its full potential to fulfill the purpose for which it was created.  Be willing to stretch yourself to go beyond average, giving God back a return in his investment in you. Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human spirit. We are all the same in this notion: The potential for greatness lives within each of us.” – Wilma Rudolph
