Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human spirit. We are all the same in this notion: The potential for greatness lives within each of us.

Spring’s Bounty: A Fresh Harvest

You have to release what is behind you to make way for the new. Holding on blocks what can be. Failing to let go means that you do not believe that better is possible. God is not a one and done. He continues to provide and protect. His power and strength are everlasting.

God makes the promise

God says “Indeed, the former things have come to pass. Now I declare new things; Before they spring forth I proclaim them to you” (Isaiah 42:9, AMP). God makes the declaration. His words are true and does not fail.

Fear is a natural to the new. New is unknown. New requires making adjustments and going to a new level. A new level of growth and development.  You become accustomed to a way of life – working the same job, performing the same routines and thinking the same way. This causes comfortability. Comfortability can lead to a false sense of security. To grow requires embracing new things. God says “Do not fear, for I am with you” (Isaiah 43:5, NIV). Press forward to embracing new. Having hope in the unknown.

Remove the limits

Hope in what is not visible. Believing in the invisible is where you get past self to seeing God. See who is he and what he can do. Stop looking at what is resulting in limiting beliefs and capping potential. Release the former things to make room for new. God says “Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing. Now it will spring forth: Will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in a wilderness, rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:18-19, AMP)

God’s will

Your attempts to blocks God will is wasting resources.  Resources that could be applied strategically to yield the desired outcomes.  You do not have the strength or power to stop his plans. He is in control. You cannot hold on to what is. God’s will supersede your will.

Do not stop believing in his strength and power.  God is a well that does not dry up. He keeps providing.  Release the old to receive new and greater.  Holding on to good blocks better.  Let go and do not look back.  Look forward. Embrace what is unseen letting the spirit be your guide. The spirit is guiding you to Spring.  Welcome the Spring that results in the planting of a new harvest. New harvest that will yield better.

Take time this week to reflect on what you are holding on to and why. What is holding you back from new? Confront the obstacle.  Let go to plant new in this coming Spring.
