Nothing is by Chance

Ruth traveled with Naomi to return to her homeland of Judah.  Upon returning to Judah, Ruth just happened to be gleaning in the portion of the field belonging to Boaz who was a relative of Elimelech, Naomi’s deceased husband.  Ruth gleaning in Boaz’s field was not by chance.  Ruth setting out traveling with Ruth and becoming connected with Boaz was not by chance. All was part of God’s plan.  It was for Ruth to follow and be obedient to God’s plans.

Reflect upon your life.  There are examples of where you traveled a path and everything fell into place.  It was not by chance.  It is all part of the plan.  God extends you an invitation.   It is for you to accept the invitation.  Failing to accept, will result in your missing out on opportunities.  God is always working.  It is for you to join Him.  What occurs is not by chance. Your trials, storms and crises occur to move you along the path to fulfill the purpose for the “why” of your creation.  Ruth married Boaz and was the ancestor of our Savior. Her purpose was to contribute to the lineage of Jesus. You have a purpose. What happens to you leads you forward to fulfilling that purpose.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” –Jeremiah 29:11   Believe in God’s word and His plans for you.
