Keep Walking

 

“But he walked right through the crowd and went on his way” (Luke 4:30, NIV). There is no stopping Jesus. His strong will and determination to purpose and beliefs. His commitment results in the people trying to control and place limits on his potential.

Fear

The people in their rage are pushing him out of town to a cliff with the intentions of throwing him off.  Their behavior seeks to cause fear.  Fear to stop him. Forcing him to pacify and reconcile to their way of thinking.  Questioning his beliefs and purpose. It is through the responses and actions of the community that the evidence supporting Jesus’ purpose.

Stand

There is a plan for Jesus.  A purpose that is beyond the control of personal influence and biases. You have a calling that cannot be manipulated, controlled or influenced.  Jesus remains steadfast and committed to purpose and beliefs.

Press forward

In times of adversity, stand your ground. Do not be concerned with what others think. Live in purpose. Set your boundaries. You are in control.  Protect your beliefs and values. The behavior of others supports that you are traveling the right path for your life.  Do not change your purpose because of manipulation or bullying. Keep moving forward.  You have work to do. Remain focused and steadfast. The behavior of man confirms that you are on the right path.

Jesus is committed.  He passed through the crowd unhurt. Like Jesus, you will make it through the adversity.  You will not be harmed. Follow the path of greatness for your life. Live in your purpose, being impactful and significant.  Do not allow man and fear of isolation to hold you back.  Press forward believing in your cause.  Keep walking.
