Jesus said to his disciples “you know the way to the place where I am going” (John 14:4, NIV).
You are in control of you. Where you will go. How far you will go. The where and how are contingent upon your navigation.
Navigation requires purpose, management and skill (PMS). Purpose is the direction. Managing the obstacles and path for the journey. Skills utilizing the potential and gifts in you.
Application
Applying PMS yields making informed decisions and adjusting to challenges along the journey for your life. Along your journey there will be numerous destinations. Destinations are temporary stops. Temporary by changing your perspective on the journey. See the journey is never ending. Aspire to travel to new locations. Embracing new experiences and adventures.
Be an adventurer
It is similar to vacations. Vacations are visiting new destinations. Seeing new sights. Creating new experiences and memories. The desire is to keep going to new places. Remaining in a destination will cause you to become stagnant and complacent. Hindering growth and evolution.
Challenge yourself by striving to reach new destinations. Progressing to new levels in your life. Setting your sights on new destinations. Be committed to continually navigating your journey.
Intentionality
To navigate requires: self-awareness, decision making, adaptability, resilience and sense of purpose. Understand your values, set meaningful goals and make the choices that align with your aspirations. Create a community of like-minded individuals who share in your vision. Foster and create healthy relationships, intentionally grow and maintain a positive mindset.
Continual process
Navigation is a continually process. The destination does not remain the same. Your journey is never ending. Aspire to keep progressing. Do not giving on growing and evolving. Self-discover and growth is a continuous journey that you are to navigate. Apply purpose, management and skills to maximize potential paving the way to new destinations.
