Hope is the Choice

I have been reflecting on hope.  What does it mean to me?  How can I continue to have hope in this world that is filled with uncertainty, hatred and violence?  I determined it is based on choice.  We can choose to be distressed and discouraged or we can choose to be filled with hope, love and joy.  Discouragement will result in your devaluing self.  Believing that you are less when you are great.  I say to all of you choose hope because of God.  Place your faith in Him even when times are hard and difficult.  Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, The Help of my countenance and my God. – Psalm 42:11b.

If we stop having hope then we stop believing in the One who created us.  Hope does not give up on you, you give up on it.  Hope will enable and empower you to accomplish that which you desire.  What appears to be out of reach is within reach.  Hope will put you in touch with the One who is able.  You will remain connected to Him.

Hope is trust.  Don’t let your heart be troubled (afraid, cowardly).  Believe (confidently) in God and trust in Him, (have faith, hold on to it, rely on it, keep going and) believe also in me. – John 14:1    It is the substance of that which cannot be seen but that which is possible.    With hope, you will soar higher above the storms in your life. It will inspire and motivate you to become better resulting in unimaginable benefits. Choose hope which is the best choice and option.
