Joshua and the Israelites were kicking butt and taking names in the Promised Land. The people in the land were collaborating and partnering attempting to conqueror and overpower the Israelites. They could not win against the Israelites. The Israelites had the power and strength of the Lord in their arsenal.
The Request
In Joshua 10, the Israelites were fighting the Amorites. During the battle, Joshua spoke to the sun and moon to stand still until the battle was over. The sun and moon did not move. God answered Joshua’s wild prayer request. There are other times in the Bible where God answered and provided a miracle. Examples include dividing of the Red Sea, Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead, the little girl dead who was revived and the young boy ill cured. I could go on but you get the picture.
See with your Spirit
These examples show what is possible if you look beyond you. Looking beyond what you see to see what God can do. Looking to God, removes the limits from your sight, seeing with your spirit. Your spirit taps into the One who is able and makes all possible. Seek Him. Ask Him for help and He will come to your aid.
The requirement
There is one requirement. You must believe. Miracles happen because of faith. Faith is believing that the impossible can be possible. Giving it to God to make the impossible possible. Committing what you want to Him enables you to see how He sees. You see beyond what you can do. Believing that He will grant your wildest request. Having the faith to stand firm knowing that He will answer and deliver.
