During the Gap is Faith

Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen. –Hebrews 11:1

Faith is exercising your confidence about expectations without having the visible proof of that which you are seeking will happen.  The confidence is trusting in faith and God.  Do you believe?  Do you trust in Him?

Abel through faith still lives and speaks.  His legacy shows us the way.  As long as you seek to please God, then you will operate by faith.  There was a gap of 120 years from when Noah was instructed to build the ark and when the flood occurred. During the gap, Noah was mocked and ridiculed. There had been no rain in the history of the land thus the people disbelieved. Noah made the decision to believe in God. He sought to please Him. His faith enabled him to withstand and endure during the gap. He did not know the time or place when the flood would occur but one thing he did know is that God is a Provider and does not lie.

As with Noah, you do not know where God is leading so you must have faith during the gap.   God will lead you to realizing your vision and fulfilling the purpose for which you were created. They did not see the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. –Hebrews 11:13   As with those before you, you may not see but you must believe.  This is the gap where you must use your faith to withstand and continue going forward.

When it’s cloudy in our minds our faith will carry us through to the sunshine.
