In life, you often encounter moments when a door swings open before you. Stepping into the unknown requiring that you make a decision. Decision that only you can make. The decision to either cross the threshold or remain where you. Staying behind means succumbing to fear. Allowing fear to dictate your path and stifle progression.
The apostle Paul, in his letter to the Corinthians, speaks of seizing opportunities when he says, “But I will stay on at Ephesus until Pentecost, because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me” (1 Corinthians 16:8-9, NIV). He understands the significance of the open door. Recognizing it as a chance for impactful change and growth.
Move
Paul’s example teaches us to move beyond complacency and mediocrity, striving for greatness. He didn’t let opposition or fear deter him from walking through that open door. Instead, he pressed forward with faith and hope. Trusting in his own abilities and the support of a higher power.
Press through Fear
Similarly, you are called to press through your fears and doubts. Embracing the opportunities before you. The challenges that accompany these opportunities should not deter you but rather spur you onward. Beyond the door lies the potential for greatness.
Believe
It’s about believing in you and God. He is accompanying you on the journey. Step through the open door with confidence. Knowing that you are not alone. God has paved the way for you. What awaits on the other side is intended for you to claim.
Seize the Opportunity
Do not allow fear or uncertainty to hold you back. Like Paul, you must seize the moment. Seizing the opportunity with courage and determination. The door is open. The invitation extended. It’s up to you to accept it. Stepping into your destiny.
Take time to pause and reflect on the open doors in your own life. You have decisions to make. Don’t hesitate. For opportunities have a way of slipping away if left unattended. Trust in yourself and in the journey. Step boldly through the open door toward a future filled with promise and purpose.
