Place your focus on what is within not what is on the outside. Within is what moves you forward to realizing outcomes not what is on the outside. God’s promise based on what is outside of you. Jeremiah 1:5 (NIV) states “before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.” His promise is based on what is within you.
Not things
Joseph’s brothers were jealous of his coat. The brothers took his fancy coat off and ruined it by dipping it in goat’s blood. The coat had no impact on the vision. Joseph became the great ruler as God planned. Move forward to Moses and his staff. It was not the staff that had the power. It was God working through Moses. Moses successfully led the Israelites from bondage. Move forward again to Jesus. He is stripped of clothing. Clothing that is divided up amongst the disbelievers. His clothes did not make him the Son of Man. The man Jesus is the vehicle for redemption. These examples validate that what is on the outside of a person cannot stop God’s plans.
Look within
Use these same examples to look at yourself. What is outside of you has no impact on what you produce. The outcome is the evidence of what is within you.
Ephesians 1:11 (NIV) says “In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.”
You must believe in these words. Do not allow what is on the outside of you to cause fear and doubt.
What is within you and who is with you results in the transformation that produces the vision. Look within yourself and to the one who is able. It is what is within you that manufactures the vision not what is on the outside.
